robbyRobby Nichols is the Chef/Owner of Spicy Sunshine Catering Company located in Charlotte, NC. Robby has over 20 years experience in the culinary industry. He is a Charlotte Native who started his training in the Culinary Arts & Food Service Program at Central Piedmont Community College. From there he served a four year apprenticeship under a world class European Chef at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Club where he earned certification from the American Culinary Federation. His work in the culinary arts is a testament to his numerous capabilities. He has worn many hats throughout his career including Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and Culinary Consultant and currently as a Catering Chef/ Owner. Robby has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the Around including Café 521, Pastis, Pewter Rose and lastly Fuzion Bistro. It was at Fuzion that Robby mastered the art of catering. He served as both the Executive Chef and Catering Chef for the restaurant for six years. Still it was his passion to one day open what is now Spicy Sunshine Catering Company. A dream realized through much hard work and perseverance. Spicy Sunshine Catering has been open since 2007 as a fully functional catering business. The business services contract caterings, business luncheons, corporate events, wedding receptions and much more. Spicy Sunshine Catering is as diverse in its functionality as its Chef/Owner Robby Nichols. He takes all services to task and handles with the upmost professionalism.
